I’m posting this for the third time, because apparently this restaurant only keeps reviews that make them look good!
The first time, I left a completely honest negative review about my experience. It got removed. So I posted it again, clearly pointing out the issue — and that second review ALSO got deleted! Your website even clearly states that you do not alter or remove reviews. That is simply not true! Deleting negative feedback while pretending to be transparent is straight-up dishonest.
Here’s what I originally said, and I’m saying it again:
The food was average at best. But the real problem is the bill — they charged a service fee higher than the tax (GST was $0.60, service fee was $1.68), which is already questionable. On top of that, they added a default tip without clearly informing me. That’s not okay.
Instead of fixing these issues or responding properly, you chose to silently delete criticism — twice. That tells me everything I need to know about how this place operates. If a business can’t handle honest feedback and resorts to removing it while claiming they don’t, that’s not just bad service, that’s a lack of integrity. I will not be coming back, and people should seriously think twice before trusting a place that hides its negative reviews. I am not writing this review for any refund or offers. I will never come back again and I will not recommend anyone to come!

To make sure we fully understand the situation, could you please let us know the exact date of your order? We want to confirm the details on our end. We did have an order from last November that was fully refunded, including the service fee from the third‑party platform.
About the charges you mentioned:
The service fee is set by the third‑party delivery platform, not by our restaurant.
The tip is automatically suggested by the platform, but customers can always adjust it — including setting it to 0%.
If this was the November order, the full amount was already refunded.

This place is amazing. I have enjoyed everything I have ordered. Their house made chili oil is phenomenal. The spicy beef brisket soup is probably my favorite and is very filling. I imagine the flavors come from handed down family recipes. I feel that when I eat from here it goes to a hardworking family that shares their wonderful cuisine with me. I have not had anything I have disliked. I am GDV#1 super fan. Anytime the wife wants to eat somewhere, I suggest here. Everyone who I share this place with instantly becomes a fan. You should try it! If you like spice, go for shrimp wontons in chili oil

We’ve eaten MANY times from this amazing little restaurant and every time we’ve been MORE THAN SATISFIED! Excellent menu to choose from, delicious food, good prices and stellar service(eat in or take out)! This is definitely one of our favourite “hidden gems”!!!!
